Our business is one that is built on a reputation of high quality potatoes and excellent service, coupled with technological advancements and sustainability measures.
Our beginnings…
In 1960, Rocco and Gordon Cappuccitti had the foresight to carefully select rich farmland in Simcoe County, ideal for high quality, high yield potato and seed production.
This 18-parcel collection of land, isolated from all other potato production in the area, resulted in over 1800 acres of protected prime potato lands known today as Ontario Potato Dist. (Alliston) Inc.
Supported by the Canadian Ministry of Agriculture’s mandate to practice professional farming techniques, the Cappuccitti brothers have cultivated rich, high-ground soils, turning them into some of Ontario’s most valuable potato producing land. For over 35 years, they have upheld careful management and responsible agricultural practices.
